Retatrutide (LY-3437943) is a synthetic 39-amino acid peptide and triple receptor agonist targeting the glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) and glucagon (GCG) receptors. It is acylated with a C20 fatty di-acid moiety via a linker at a lysine residue to prolong its circulating half-life, and is used as a reference compound in metabolic and receptor-pharmacology research.
